Summertime crafts

I thought before I start my fall creations that I ought to post summer of the crafty items I made earlier this summer.  For those of you who have been downstairs, you know I have plenty of supplies.  I need to stick to my mantra of "one item in, one item out" so that I use up supplies.  I really do have a bunch of stuff I can use.

Anyhow, these fabric creations are my version of summer.

Indy with his new pet "Dexter". Dexter is constantly being licked by Indy. At first he was afraid but now seems to really enjoy the attention.

Day 2Welcome to the world of Blogging

Okay so  now that I am on-line, I realize I need a quick tutorial on googling. I'll have to look for that on-line.

I had a big outing today as Cody took me to Walmart. Yippie, out of the house for an hour. I am getting along a bit better on crutches. I am truly awkward. Finally have physical therapy scheduled for this week and am eager to get going.  I can do all sorts of things with my crutches such as turning on the ceiling fan from the couch.  I mastered carrying a travel mug and crutching as well.

I really would like to do something but know I need to be patient.

Ashley, you have me addicted to Pinterest.  Luckily it keeps me busy and interested as it helps pass the time. Dish TV is wonderful but lots of repeat shows. You can only watch so much home improvement and cooking shows in one day.

Day 1 - The posting begins

Hey there!  I've been waiting to work on a blog and now that I am stuck on the couch for two weeks, I guess now is a better time than never. Please bear with me as I work though the nuances of "blogging".  Enjoy!
